Wine profile
Description
Al-Gharbio is born of old grapes from southern Portugal, evoking a wine heritage dating back to the dawn of the kingdom, in the time of D. Afonso III, King of Portugal and the Algarves. Made in very limited quantities, this wine fully expresses the estate's distinctive character and its pursuit of excellence.
Aromatic Profile
Cherry-red with medium concentration, it shows an expressive, fresh aromatic profile. Notes of black cherry, raspberry and pomegranate stand out, wrapped in delicate floral hints of violet, nuances of cinnamon and a subtle earthy character.
Tasting
On the palate it stands out for its freshness and definition of fruit, with an elegant, balanced expression. The ripe red fruit stays vibrant, with a light texture and delicate structure.
Style and Identity
Inspired by the old Kingdom of the Algarves, the name Al-Gharbio evokes the wine heritage of southern Portugal. Made from old grapes of the region, it combines Algarve identity with a fresh, minimalist approach and a strong affinity for food.
Structure
At just 12.5% alcohol, it has a light, elegant and balanced profile, favouring freshness and ease at the table.
