Description
Class A vineyards (the highest classification in the Douro Demarcated Region). Several are old mixed vines; in the younger ones Touriga Franca, Touriga Nacional and Tinta Roriz are the main grapes. All the vineyards are farmed under certified integrated production, aiming to minimise environmental impact.
Balanced, elegant Douro reds like this Quinta do Infantado Reserva 2005 are excellent at the table with a wide variety of dishes. Oven-roast kid is one of the classics.
