Description
Quinta dos Abibes Syrah 2019 is a top-of-the-range Portuguese red made in the prestigious Bairrada region, under winemaker Mário Sérgio. It's a 100% Syrah that expresses the terroir's strong Atlantic influence, giving a sophisticated, structured profile with excellent food-pairing ability.
Clear, with a deep garnet colour enriched by subtle violet nuances, showing its youth and concentration. On the nose it has great aromatic intensity, with ripe red fruit harmoniously wrapped in black spice and a delicate toastiness from oak ageing, perfectly integrated.
On the palate it's full-bodied and round, with an enveloping texture supported by fine, elegant tannins. The balance of fruit, structure and oak gives depth and complexity. It ends long, persistent and captivating, leaving a pleasant impression of elegance and character.
