Description
Columella is the great red of Eben Sadie's Sadie Family Wines in Swartland, South Africa, and one of the country's most acclaimed reds.
It is a Syrah-based blend from old vines on several Swartland soils. The 2020 shows black fruit, spice, dried herbs, floral and earthy notes, with fine tannins, freshness and a long, elegant finish.
Pair with lamb, grilled meat and spiced dishes. Serve at 16–18 °C.
Store the bottle lying down, away from light and vibration, at a steady 12 to 14 °C. At Vinogrande every bottle is carefully packed so it reaches you in the best condition.
