The 'Cortes do Tua' wines are the result of a cross between three-year-old vines from the Tua Valley and the hands of two young winemakers, Duarte da Costa and Ana de Almeida. Their passion for wine, international experience and the Douro winemaking tradition brought these two young people together to produce harmonious, balanced and elegant wines. The grapes for the Cortes do Tua wines come from 15 hectares of vineyards divided into plots.

The vineyards for the white wines are located at an altitude of 500 to 700 m. The vineyards for the red wines are located on the slopes of the Tua River, at an altitude of 300 to 400 m. The Cortes do Tua winery is located in the Douro Superior sub-region in Pombal de Ansiães, Carrazeda de Ansiães.
