Description
Tenuta di Trinoro was founded by Andrea Franchetti in the Val d'Orcia in southern Tuscany, far from the classic zones. The wine that bears the estate's name is its top red, inspired by the great Bordeaux blends.
It is a blend of Bordeaux varieties, led by Cabernet Franc and Merlot, classified as Toscana IGT. The 2021 shows black fruit, graphite, herbs and spice, with a broad texture, fine tannins and a long finish.
Pair with red meat, lamb and game. Serve at 17–18 °C.
Store the bottle lying down, away from light and vibration, at a steady 12 to 14 °C. At Vinogrande every bottle is carefully packed so it reaches you in the best condition.
