Vinhas da Teixuga Tinto 2ª Edição 2021 is a Dão wine made by Caminhos Cruzados, notable for being made exclusively from Alfrocheiro and only in years of exceptional conditions.

Made only in exceptional years, this wine singularly expresses the terroir of Quinta da Teixuga. Made exclusively from Alfrocheiro, it shows all the grape's characteristic elegance and complexity.

On the nose it shows remarkable aromatic complexity, with intense notes of ripe black fruit such as blackberry and plum, delicately wrapped in ‘nuances’ of spice and subtle balsamic hints.

On the palate the sophistication is confirmed: fresh, balanced and very elegant, supported by silky, well-integrated tannins. The harmonious structure carries into a persistent finish of great refinement and food-friendliness.
