“Esculpido” is a wine produced with grapes from these same upside-down vines, found at Quinta de Santa Teresa, aiming to do justice to the great quality of the grapes from these vineyards, being produced organically and using traditional methods.
Fermented in oak barrels with wine from the oldest vineyards at Quinta de Santa Teresa, which are mainly planted in the Ramada style, Esculpido is a high-quality white wine, exploring the fabulous potential that the concentration and character of these centuries-old vineyards offer us.
On the nose, this wine reveals an excellent balance between freshness and well-integrated wood, showing notes of dried fruits and ginger. On the palate, it reveals character and elegance, with a velvety profile, with notes of hazelnut, tree fruits such as apple and some citrus. It will evolve well in the bottle.
