Description
Fine, deep colour with a brick-red rim. Good depth on the nose, sweet and harmonious, a little spirit on the nose, rich, smooth touches of dark chocolate and cherry (cherry tomato). A harmonious, elegant wine, with some fine structure and exciting notes of spice and mint, very concentrated, soft fruit. A delicious Vintage Port, now with good tannins to carry it into old age. Seems smoother than usual. Closing on the nose. Big fruit, blackcurrant and blackberry, very intense jammy notes with cocoa and firm, silky tannins. A powerful Vintage Port. Fine, ripe fruit, good expression, cherry, a charming character.
