 Glenrothes 12 Year Old is a Speyside single malt Scotch whisky, known for its rich, creamy character, with notes of vanilla, melon and cinnamon from ageing exclusively in sherry-seasoned oak casks.

Tasting Notes and Characteristics: 

This whisky is appreciated for its balanced flavour profile, combining smoothness with a light spiciness. 

Nose: A light fragrance with prominent notes of banana and vanilla. Touches of baked apple and orange peel may also appear.

Palate: Fruity, with flavours of banana, lemon and melon, complemented by a hint of cinnamon. Some sources also mention creamy hazelnut and dried fruit.

Finish: The finish is described as long and sweet, with galia melon and a light, lingering spice.
