Description

Pacheca Reserva Tinto 2023, made from Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional from Quinta da Pacheca vines about 40 years old, immediately shows the classic, elegant identity of the Douro.

On the nose it has an intense aromatic expression led by ripe black fruit, especially plum and currants, harmoniously wrapped in subtle hints of coffee and dark chocolate. The oak is very well integrated, adding complexity without overshadowing the fruit.

On the palate it's rich, broad and powerful, with round, velvety tannins giving structure and elegance. Marked freshness carries it through to a long, persistent finish that invites another sip.

A wine ready to enjoy now, but with excellent ageing potential, able to evolve nobly over the coming years.
