Wine profile
Description
A blend of selected wines from several years, aged in oak casks with an average age of 20 years. An excellent match for desserts made with chocolate, dried fruit, spices (cinnamon) and caramel. Also pairs well with coffee and chocolates. As Port is a natural product, it may throw a deposit.
Appearance: Clear and bright.
Colour: Amber, with brownish ‘nuances’.
Aroma: Perfumed, delicate and elegant from extended ageing in oak, showing a wide range of aromas of dried fruit, cinnamon, caramel and vanilla.
Palate: Great balance, rich, full-bodied and smooth, confirming on the palate the impressions from the nose, good body and a long finish.
