Vista Alegre Porto Harvest 2011

Winemaking: The grapes are harvested manually into small baskets; They come from a single harvest and the vinification follows the traditional way of making Port Wine. After a partial grape phase, the grapes are trodden by foot in old stone presses. Fermentation takes place with temperature control, being interrupted with the addition of brandy (brandy). This wine, as it is made, has great aging potential. Single harvest wine, aged in oak casks for a minimum of 7 years. Look for the year of bottling on the back label.

Tasting notes: Tawny with orange nuances. Well balanced, good acidity and freshness, with aromas of raisins, dried fruits and some vanilla. Smooth and silky with a strong texture and a long finish.

Storage and serving advice: The bottle must be in a vertical position, at a constant temperature and away from intense direct light. After opening, consume preferably within 6 to 8 weeks. To be served at a temperature between 14º C and 16º C.

Pairing with food: Can be served with coffee or chocolates. It goes well with desserts such as crème Brule or fruit tart and also desserts made with chocolate, dried fruit and caramel.
