The Cuvée 700 concept is unique in Champagne and the opposite of a non-vintage wine! We seek excellence rather than uniformity, respect for the character of the harvest rather than its denial, and a commitment to making a great wine rather than keeping a “house style”. Reserve wines are added to reinforce the wine's complexity without hiding the character of the base year. Once we set out on this path, it quickly became clear that we couldn't also make a blended vintage wine, as that could only harm the quality and purity of the Cuvée 700.
